Day 1: Chongmek – Pakse - Wat Phou - Khong Islands 
Arrive Vang Tao from Chongmek Thailand at 08:00am. Meet local guide for assistance with documentation and clearance at immigration,
Begin your exploration of southern Laos including visits to: Pre-Angkor Wat Phou of the Khmer period and the Khong Islands. Arrive Khong Island. Overnight in Khong Islands.

Day 2: Khong Islands - Khone Phapheng Waterfall - Bolaven Plateau - Pakse 
Your second day will include: Khone Phapheng the largest waterfall in SE Asia. Drive back to Pakse with stops and to visit the Bolaven Plateau tea and coffee plantations and local villages. Overnight in Pakse.

Day 3: Pakse - Savan - Dansavanh (Lao Bao)
Full day overland drive to Lao Bao around 500km. via Savannakhet.  Stops and visits to local villages. Arrive Dansavanh (Lao Bao) Lao - Vietnamese Border checkpoint, after clearance of vehicle documents at immigration, depart to Hue (Vietnam) for next part of your tour.
